As the title suggests. The exercises are based on the song by U2: “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”. If you’re not familial with the song I suggest that you take a look at the following music video as it’s a classic.
Excerpt
I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you
I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

One Response to ““U2 – I still haven’t found…” – the song”
This song is a great find – for practising the present perfect (I have climbed, I have swum…), but it is wrong to use it to teach the past simple, as suggested by the keywords.
(The present perfect refers to the fact that the action took place at some time before now.)
