The number of English words for “trash” has always baffled me. That’s why I decided to create a little worksheet for my students hoping them to understand the notion of waste, trash, junk etc.



Procedure

  1. Match words from the box with their definitions below.

    The worksheet is fine, but I find it lacking expressions such as: dustbin, waste bucket, recycle bin, trash can, the bin etc. There are plenty!
