Name: Mia
I want to find somebody who…
So this is a variation on "Find somebody who" giving students more autonomy.
We usually create a complete worksheet with information that students should find such as "Find somebody who's played golf this week" or "Find somebody who is a single child".
However, it seems that letting students come up with their own questions is a better idea as they will be able to ask questions that they really find interesting. Not what their teacher thinks is interesting.
Task
Hand out the worksheet and ask students to complete "I want to find somebody who" column with questions (grammatically these won't be questions, so be careful) of their interest.
Then, learners simply mingle and find "someone who" among their colleagues.
