Task
- Here are some days connected with Easter. Match the names with their descriptions.
- Write the names of the Easter days in the correct sequence. The first and the last one have been done for you.
- Here are some definitions of Easter words. Read them and decide which words from the box they describe
- Read the following text about Easter customs. FilI in the gaps with the correct words from Exercises 1 and 3.
- Choose words and expressions from the box and write six sentences about how you celebrate Easter in Poland.
- Write the names of the pictures in the correct places in the crossword.
- Which animal lays Easter eggs? Do you know what we can get from other animals? Here’s a little test for you. Match each animal with its picture, the sound it makes and what it gives us.
- Pancakes are everytrody’s favourite food on Pancake Day. Read the recipe and underline the verbs.
- Look at the pictures and, using the verbs from Exercise 8, write the word for the activiĘ they show. The first letter for each verb has been written for you. Then match the pictures (a-j) with the instructions. Finally, number the instructions in the correct order (1-10).
