Don’t say it – Christmas defining with a twist
Learners work in pairs and define words presented on the worksheets (all connected with Christmas e.g. Santa Claus, reindeer etc.).
The twist is that they cannot use the listed words in their definitions.
For example: They have to define the word Santa Claus without using the words: red, man, boots and so on.
A nice activity for more profficient esl students.
