“Didgeridoo” - listening comprehension

Lead-in
- Play a fragment of Jamiroquai’s When You Gonna Learn. The instrument that you can hear in the first 15 seconds of the track is didgeridoo. Play the song and ask Ss to identify the instrument. They won’t probably know the name of it, but they might be familiar with the sound. Ask where it originates from, how it’s built, if they ever played it, what type of musical instrument it is (wind instrument), etc.
Task 1
- You will hear a text about a musical instrument called didgeridoo. Choose the correct sentence endings A - D for each sentence beginning 1 – 5.
Task 2
- Listen to the recording once again to find synonyms for the words and phrases given below.
