“Dialogue rewrite” – punctuation

Students are presented with a simple dialogue which has been stripped off any punctuation. They provide the punctuation to create meaning. The fun part is that there are at least a few ways of doing this.
The meaning of the dialogue can be completely changed with punctuation. When done, ask your students to read out the dialogue in pairs paying attention to intonation. You’ll have loads of fun!
