The vocabulary includes: wok, frying pan, whisk spatula, tea ball, potato peeler, toaster, cutting board, baking pan, spaghetti strainer, cookie sheet, pizza tray, microwave, oven, pizza cutter, can opener, thermos, tupperware, cookie cutters, measuring cups, rolling pin, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, cooking pot, tongs, pot holder, oven mitt, ice tray. Excerpt Oven – the part that opens from the front, used for baking Stove (stovetop) – the top part of an oven, used to heat/fry things – four burners on the top Broiler – drawer beneath oven, used to keep food warm [...] Tasks It's really up to you what you do with the task as there is no explicit task, but my idea would be to turn this exercise into a competition. Just give your students a few minutes to learn the vocabulary items by heart. Then ask them to cover the worksheet and give students a blank worksheet with pictures only (you will have to erase the text) and ask them to compete it as quickly as possible.
